Gregory R.R. Crosby, Photography/Media, obtained a BA in Film and Video Production from California State University, Long Beach and went on to edit for television. He teaches video production for dance film and helps direct an annual outdoor dance film festival, 4 The Camera. He has worked on countless productions with his production company, Lost Heart Productions and, with Kieth Johnson, Fistbomb Films. While working with talented choreographers, Crosby produced the dance films, Life in Security (ADF, Dance Conversations, Breaking Ground, WestFest, Fusion), Evacuated (Dance Camera West, WestFest), Promiscuity (Dance Camera West), Wander/lost, Aprés, Parallax, Lucky 13, Steve Zee for President and also created the Department of Dance recruitment video.

Film Equipment Room Manager at California State University, Long Beach

In the Film and Electronic Arts Department, I was the Student Manager who was in charge of over $200,000 of various film equipment. As Student Manager, I made sure expensive equipment issued to students for film shoots were both checked out and returned in acceptable working order. This entailed me to have a strong working knowledge of thousands of pieces of equipment, be able to upkeep the equipment, and follow up on the student's troubleshooting issues. I taught introductory classes to students in use of editing system's, camera and lighting equipment, and needed to be sure that students were prepared to handle the equipment in the field. I was in charge of scheduling work hours for other student employees and made sure that everyone was treated respectfully.
